Graham (age 47) graduated from Cardiff University with an honours degree in Physics in 1982. Working for a local firm of Chartered Accounts he qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1987.

There he delivered significant returns for the owners but wished to gain experience of a larger company. In 1990 Graham moved to AGJ Holdings plc where, appointed director of an associate company he was able to gain a taste of international business, appointing agents and distributors throughout the Middle East.
Due to a decline in the textiles industry Graham moved to Countrywide Leisure before joining Surgical Innovations in 1999 as financial controller but soon after promoted to the Group Board as Finance Director and Company Secretary.
