Surgical Innovations Group Plc has been made aware that certain shareholders have been approached by an organisation offering to buy shares in the Company at a much higher price than their current market value. Investors have been asked by this organisation to pay in advance for a bond in order to secure the sale of their shares. The Company believes this may be an advanced fee fraud and shareholders should always check by whom a firm is regulated and also report suspicious approaches to the FSA consumer helpline (0845 606 1234).
